The feel of the game is more like a bad smite (and yes, Smite is bad to begin with). I don't mean it's different and they've made changes. In 2017 Epic games released Fortnite Battle Royale, and with this mode the game started to gain. The developers are seeking to make Fault more competitive. With the assets it also takes heavy inspiration from it and other MOBAs.

It is being created with the assets of the MOBA Paragon. Its so far away from what Paragon was it's a travesty. Fault is a game being developed by Strange Matter Studios. The hero is upgradeable over the course of the game, growing in strength through acquired experience and purchased items. The gameplay, game, items, actions in game, just everything involved in the playing of the game is awful.
FAULT PARAGON GAME PC
Paragon was available on PC and PS4, until Apwhen the servers were officially shut down. The players had to fight their way to the enemy Core by destroying Towers and outplay their opponents.

Players enter a 5v5 online match, where they choose a hero from their unlocked hero pool to play for that match. Paragon was a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game developed by Epic Games, where two teams of 5 players were pitted against each other. Instead of simply attempting to revive Paragon and keep it on life support, Predecessor will have its own systems and mechanics, as well its own original character concepts. Fault is a next-generation multiplayer online battle arena game in the style of Paragon by Epic Games. Omeda’s first game, Predecessor, is one of only a few MOBA games that supports cross-platform play and has already amassed more than 35,000 fans on Discord and over 100,000 sign-ups. Having successfully raised $2.2 million from their first round of funding, Omeda released the following statement:Ĭlosing this round of funding will enable us to create more content for Predecessor, allowing us to build unique heroes, skins and flesh out the Predecessor universe even further. Omeda Studios also received an Epic Games Megagrant to help advance Predecessor’s development.
FAULT PARAGON GAME PATCH
We have always been gameplay first here at Strange Matter Studios, and after over a year of Early Access and nonstop grinds to improve our game, we feel Patch 0.The developers are currently working on Predecessor, a game that looks to continue Paragon’s legacy, reusing many of the characters, animations, VFX, environments, and other assets Epic made freely available when they decided to pull the plug on their struggling MOBA. We thank you all again for your continued support and we are beyond excited to move into the next stage of our game with you all. Moving forward, will be shifting to full-on blogs written by the devs themselves with visuals showing their progress, from concept to reality. We just feel our blogs will be better utilized to showcase the development of the game and the reasons why we do the things we do. From now on, instead of bi-weekly blog posts, our showcases will be done through social posts, videos, and more frequent dev streams!Īlthough they won't be as often, we will still be posting dev blogs in the future. As we draw closer to our next major update, we are changing how we handle the marketing of our game. Did you love Paragon Well youll love Fault which is coming to early access on Friday Paragons spiritual successor after Epic Games pulled Paragon, Strange.
