Zodiak Kids has appoints Fusion as the licensing agent for Australia and New Zealand for its CGI animated preschool series Tickety Toc. The special finds Plankton on a quest to get his Christmas wish obtaining Krusty Krab’s secret Krabby Patty recipe – by turning everyone bad in Bikini Bottom. The half-hour special is the first stop-motion animated SpongeBob SquarePants project, and is inspired by the popular song, Don’t be a Jerk, It’s Christmas, by Tom Kenny (aka the voice of SpongeBob) and Andy Paley. SpongeBob SquarePants splashes onto CBS with the new stop-motion animated holiday special, It’s A SpongeBob Christmas!, based on Nickelodeon‘s animated series SpongeBob SquarePants, Friday, November 23 at 9:30p. Disney will support the launch of Swampy’s Underground Adventures by featuring episodes on in-store screens in 175 Disney Stores in the US tomorrow, Saturday, October 20, where there will be Where’s My Water? giveaways at each location. The 12 episodes of Swampy’s Underground Adventures will launch weekly.
The series also marks the first production from Disney Interactive’s collaboration with YouTube to offer original family-friendly video series to the web. Swampy’s Underground Adventures follows the humorous adventures of Swampy, Disney’s first original mobile character and star of its mobile franchise Where’s My Water?, which launched in September 2011.
